We discovered Firebean when our daughter moved to Whitehorse, been buying it ever since and never been disappointed. We prefer the more medium roasts, but there’s a roast for everyone in their lineup.

I've never been disappointed with any Fire Bean coffee I've had. This bundle is the perfect mix of dark roast varieties, Inferno was my favourite. Bold, complex and delicious.

Aside from being a sustainable fuel source - Woodfire roasting is a return to coffee’s roots—a ritual that dates back centuries. The dancing flames and live smoke create complex, mesmerising flavours that mechanical roasting can’t replicate. It’s more than a technique; it’s a tribute to slower, more intentional craft. Sorry not sorry big coffee but we're taking the people back to the fire.

Where is your coffee from? How fresh are the roasts?

Our coffee is coming from producers out of Mexico, Brazil and Colombia, with fair and equitable relationships with reputable suppliers. we source 100% Arabica.

We roast weekly in small batches and ship within 1-2 business days  to ensure peak freshness.

Do you ship? Where to? Carbon Neutral?

We ship with Canada Post Expedited and it is Carbon Neutral. We ship across Canada and the continental U.S. (we can also ship EU and beyond). Orders typically ship within 1–2 business days. Free shipping with orders over $99 🚚

The Founder Story

It didn’t really start so well...

The first batch actually caught fire – oops! (A special dark roast not even a mum could love) But in that blazing moment (we got our name) and our founder sparked the passion that would fuel his journey.

For a while that roasting shack in the woods was the only place that mattered: chopping wood, pedalling coffee. The crack of the axe, the thrill of the fire, the sights, sounds, smells, THE TASTE.

Alone in the woods he practiced, until it was ready to share.

From friends and family to mugs worldwide – Firebean Coffee is a reminder that the most delicious things happen when you follow your fire.
